The Haddock Tagging Program monitors haddock movements throughout New England waters, including Georges Bank and the Gulf of Maine. This information, stored in an extensive database, is accessible to you through this website. Here, you can view haddock release and re-capture locations throughout the study area. The HADDOCK MAPPING tab (currently selected) initially displays this overview. It will also display stored information about any fish selected with the Identify tool. The FILTER DATABASE tab provides tools which limit the number of fish displayed to only those associated with a specific gear type, geographic area, or other criteria. Use the TAG LOCATOR tab to report finding a tagged fish and to see where it was originally released. The Map Tool Buttons to the right of the map control map navigation, display a legend, and let you identify information on specific fish. Click on HELP above for detailed usage information.
